You are a junior pharmacist or physician preferably with an oncology background. You are patient with average knowledge of all aspects of how cancer is treated, from diagnosis to recovery, and be fluent in cancer terminology. You're flexible in learning new information on other non-cancer diseases. You are inspired by our mission to improve healthcare through technology. You have a track record of being an A player.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare data for internal and external clients for various use-cases.
- Complete initial survey and analysis of data
- Annotate and tag relevant data (whole files and targeted files)
- Identify and correct data issues found in Google sheets
- Abstract patient medical records using Mendel's proprietary software
- Conduct clinical trial matching using Mendel's proprietary platform
- Ensure all data outputs and processes are HIPAA compliant (No PHI)
- Test and provide feedback on Mendel products in development
- Complete other projects and support process improvement efforts as assigned
**Job Requirements**:
- 0+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine or related fields (Pharmacy, Veterinary, Biotechnology etc)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time
- Metrics oriented

- Evaluate the existing data protection framework and identify areas of non or partial compliance and rectify any issues.
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) for all processes.
- Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organization.
- Conduct Privacy by Design assessments (PDA) for all new projects/tools/processes.
- Participate, develop, implement and run a range of privacy awareness trainings & campaigns.
- Conduct the needed Privacy technical assessment for all data breach cases.
- Conduct the needed vendor assessments during the onboarding stage.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university (preferred Computer Science & Engineering).
- At least 1-year experience in technology field or telecom industry.

- A well-organized team player with the ability to perform various tasks, act individually, and think creatively.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information.
