Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Corporate Lawyer based in Cairo, Egypt. The lawyer will also interact with governmental entities and appeal decisions to protect clients' intellectual property rights. Qualifications

Job Objective:
To provide legal consultations to the company, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, draft and review contracts and agreements related to engineering and contracting projects, and represent the company before official and judicial authorities when required, thereby protecting the company's interests and minimizing legal risks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Draft and review contracts for contracting, engineering consultancy, commercial agreements, partnership, and supply.
Monitor legal amendments and legislations related to contracting and engineering, and provide recommendations to senior management.
Provide legal advice to management and other departments on various issues (tenders, contracts, financial obligations, labor, etc.).
Represent the company before courts, arbitration bodies, judicial and administrative authorities in case of disputes.
Manage and resolve legal and commercial disputes with clients, contractors, suppliers, or employees.
Prepare legal memoranda, statements of claims, and legal responses.
Maintain and monitor all legal documents of the company (licenses, commercial registrations, trademarks).
Participate in drafting internal policies and regulations to ensure compliance with laws.
Supervise contracts related to major projects and ensure the company's rights are protected.
Coordinate with external legal advisors when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate and contracting law or relevant law firms.
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial laws, labor law, government procurement and tendering systems, and contracting/engineering laws.
Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in computer and office applications.
Preferably fluent in English (written and spoken), especially in reviewing international contracts.
