Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations at Mazeed. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring a supportive, compliant and employee-friendly journey. Demonstrated experience in onboarding, personnel administration, benefits management and handling employee relations is a key requirement for success and growth in this role. Duties and Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Facilitate the onboarding process by preparing employment contracts, new hire documentation and checklists
- Participate in induction sessions and ensure smooth integration of new employees in terms of knowledge of HR systems in place, providing credentials (HRIS) and their orientation
- Support the offboarding process, ensuring final clearance procedures are completed and providing support where needed
Personnel Administration
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee records (digital and physical)
- Participation in ongoing – and periodical – internal HR audit review on employee personnel records
- Manage all employee attendance and leave types, track balances, and ensure proper documentation is filed and archived.
- Ensure all employee files and documents are organized, confidential, and compliant with labor law requirements.
Insurance Administration
- Administer social and medical insurance programs, including employee enrollments, updates, and support in claims processing
HR Operations & Support
- Participate in payroll preparation, proactive management and documentation enabling timely payroll submissions and closures
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to HR management
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures
- Support mazeed employees in timely administration/routing of their HR related requests
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business administration or any related field is required
- Knowledge in local labor law, with introductory knowledge in the new Egyptian labor law
- Prior experience handling employee investigations and SI audits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, advanced MS Excel skills.
- HRIS systems knowledge (currently, Odoo)
- Strong communication skills and English command, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- 2+ years of HR experience, with focus in Personnel management
- Experience in startups, with 100+ FTEs
