Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Network Engineer. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions. Day-to-day tasks include network administration, troubleshooting network issues, ensuring network security, and providing support for network design projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage LAN/WAN networks, with a primary focus on switching and routing.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches to ensure network stability and efficiency.
• Perform network monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning to identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams and operational procedures.

Requirements (Mandatory):

• Cisco CCNP Certification (Routing & Switching or Enterprise) is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on professional experience in network engineering, with a deep focus on switching and routing technologies.
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting complex network environments.
• Expert knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching protocols (e.g., VLANs, STP, EtherChannel).
• Strong understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and network security principles.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Giza for an aspiring Network Engineer looking to grow their skills in a dynamic enterprise environment.
