SAP has established strategic partnerships with the major cloud infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to offer customers maximum choice for their SAP private cloud deployment.
The Cloud Architecture and Advisory Team is part of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services organization. Within this team we are looking for highly motivated and customer-focused team members to strengthen the Cloud Architecture & Advisory team (CAA) in EMEA. The Cloud Architect Advisor works predominantly in the pre-sales phase as a subject matter expert, acting as the primary point of contact for all technical topics related to the private cloud deployment from a customer perspective. It works closely with all the other internal SAP teams to prepare the customer for success on their cloud journey under RISE with SAP.
**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
This is a customer facing role where you will support the sales teams during the entire cycle of a Cloud deal. Following are the key tasks that this role will perform:
1. Present in detail technical and operational aspects of the RISE with SAP Private Cloud.
2. Present the requirements and value proposition for SAP private cloud on hyperscalers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
3. Conduct technical assessment workshops with customers to define the future cloud architecture and plan the migration roadmap together with partners, System Integrators, and or SAP Professional Services.
4. Guide customers on non-functional capabilities such Business Continuity, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Networking, Technical Operations, and service consumption.
5. Work with other teams within the Customer success board area to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams.
6. Own the technical discussions with the customer and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the SAP delivery organization as required.
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university.
- High proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required
- High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions.
- Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies etc.)
- Good understanding of operational aspects (Application and Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
- Good understanding of capabilities of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS; MS Azure or GCP)
- Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud Architects
- Willingness to undertake customer related travel on short notice
- Fluency in English & ARABIC is a MUST, any other language(s) like French will be an asset.
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- 5 years of customer facing SAP Consulting / Presales experience.
- 5 years of solution design, enterprise architecture and or SAP implementation.
- Experience in a customer facing pre-sales role is an advantage.
- Experience and/or certification(s) with IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure or GCP) and data centres is an advantage.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance expertise is an advantage.

Our mission at Procore Fintech is to improve access to working capital and levelset risk in construction. Our group builds financial products powered by risk data to improve contractors access to capital and insurance products. We are using big data technologies and our proprietary risk data graph to transform how financial risk data can power construction fintech products. We run software and data systems that ingest, process, and organize data from hundreds of sources, including licenses, permits, liens, and hundreds of other signals sources. In addition, our suite of products and services and thousands of existing users provide us with a wealth of construction payment data that can be used to enrich our risk data graph and inform our data-powered construction risk products.
This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer of Procore Fintech. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
**What you’ll do**:
- Maintain and improve reliability, availability, and scalability of all existing cloud infrastructure systems
- Maintain and develop our CI/CD systems
- Lead our on-call devops support engineering team to address infrastructure incidents and provide timely infrastructure operations support to other teams
- Manage and expand our growing cloud infrastructure engineering team
**What we’re looking for**:
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or comparable work experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of people management experience

This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer of Procore Fintech. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
**What you’ll do**:
- Maintain and improve reliability, availability, and scalability of all existing cloud infrastructure systems
- Maintain and develop our CI/CD systems
- Lead our on-call devops support engineering team to address infrastructure incidents and provide timely infrastructure operations support to other teams
- Manage and expand our growing cloud infrastructure engineering team
**What we’re looking for**:
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or comparable work experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems; experience optimizing for reliability of distributed systems
- Experience in modern infrastructure and cloud operations technologies (e.g. AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform)
- Familiarity with big data systems and data streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ, Elastic, Neo4j, MongoDB, Airflow, Spark, Databricks)
- Can write high-quality code in several programming and scripting languages
