Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all stages of civil construction (access roads, soil investigations, excavation, foundations, tower footing protection).
• Independently manage excavation and foundation works at site.
• Ensure compliance with designs, material specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate effectively with the Construction Manager and other site engineers.
• Monitor and report site progress through Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
• Participate in Joint Measurement Committee (JMC) meetings and assist in billing/invoicing.

• Proven experience in
  220kV / 380kV / 400kV / 500kV / 765kV transmission line
  projects.
• Strong track record in

• Hands-on experience managing site activities, contractors, and civil teams.

Role Purpose

The Civil Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring that projects are executed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety guidelines, and timelines. The role acts as a vital link between the technical office, contractors, consultants, and site workforce.

• Key Accountabilities
  Supervise and monitor civil works at the project site including excavation, foundation, concrete, formwork, and finishing works.
• Ensure execution of works as per approved drawings, project specifications, and construction schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and site staff to ensure smooth progress of activities.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of construction materials and workmanship.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit them to the Senior/Team Leader Engineer.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and propose site-based solutions where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.
• Verify quantities and assist in preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and site measurements.
• Review and interpret construction drawings and shop drawings and ensure they are up to date.
• Monitor site logistics, equipment, and manpower availability and coordinate accordingly.
• Participate in site meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Maintain accurate site records including material deliveries, work progress, and inspection logs.
