Job Title:
Production Supervisor – Jackets or Trousers Manufacturing

Experience Required:
3–5 years in garment manufacturing (jackets or trousers)

Job Purpose:

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily production operations in the jackets and trousers department, ensuring targets are met in terms of quality, efficiency, and timelines. The role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage workers effectively to achieve production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage production lines for jackets and trousers.
• Monitor daily production output and ensure adherence to production plans.
• Coordinate with the production manager, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and minimize defects.
• Manage and train operators to improve efficiency and workmanship.
• Monitor machine utilization, workflow, and manpower allocation.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and cleanliness on the production floor.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly production reports.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in supervising production lines (jackets or trousers manufacturing is a must).
• Strong knowledge of garment production processes, sewing techniques, and industrial machinery.
• Ability to handle a large team of operators and line leaders.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, ERP knowledge is a plus).

About the Role

On behalf of our client – a global leader in the fashion and apparel industry – we are currently seeking a highly skilled Production & Process Excellence Manager to join their operations in Egypt. This is a strategic role, ideal for a candidate who is passionate about production innovation, process optimization, and quality leadership in the apparel manufacturing sector.

The selected candidate will lead production modelling and process improvement initiatives while providing guidance and direction to the local technical product development and quality teams. This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of garment production processes and strong collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement best-in-class production models tailored for the apparel manufacturing environment
• Drive operational efficiency aligned with collection calendars and speed-to-market expectations
• Lead and coach the technical product development team in line with global standards
• Oversee and continuously improve quality control processes across raw materials, in-line and final product inspections
• Ensure compliance with global production and quality requirements at factory and vendor levels
• Collaborate with digital and operational excellence teams to introduce automation, lean manufacturing, and other optimization projects
• Act as the key liaison between the Egypt team and the global headquarters on technical and quality-related initiatives
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance oversight to relevant production and quality staff

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in apparel manufacturing, with proven exposure to production optimization and quality systems
• Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing, fabric types, and factory floor operations
• Experience working with technical product teams, quality teams, and/or 3rd-party suppliers
• Proficient in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a must

• Responsible for manufacturing of products in the production plant efficiently and with strict adherence to the company quality standards.
• Work inline with the supply chain to plan and execute the production plan.

reporting to our MES Business Owner. You will ensure that the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) enhances production planning and resource scheduling. You will focus on optimizing resource allocation, improving production timelines, and aligning operational goals with the MES's functionalities. In this exciting role you will:

• Identify areas for improvement in the area of planning and detailed scheduling that can be achieved with the new APS
• In-depth knowledge of APS solutions, their possibilities, and functionalities. Knowledge of Parsec's Tracksys MESsolution is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ensure the MES supports accurate production planning, capacity management, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with the MES team to align system functionalities with real-world production requirements.
• Validate and test scheduling functionalities within the APS to ensure system reliability and accuracy, thereby building the template.
• To improve planning, provide insights on resource allocation, lead times, and production constraints.
• Identify and implement best practices for detailed scheduling in complex manufacturing environments.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, and capacity management.
• Familiarity with MES and APS systems, including their integration into manufacturing workflows.
• Analytical skills to increase planning and scheduling processes based on data insights.
