Job Description:

On Behalf of one of our leading multinational clients, their Global Engineering Services department is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to complement their International Operations Design Team. This individual will be responsible for providing drafting support services to create and update both 2D and 3D designs under direction of experienced designers. Creation of design artifacts will require work in Navisworks, AutoCAD and Revit with a high level of detail and quality. A successful candidate will be able to co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders and inputs and be able to successfully problem solve technical issues with legacy design files. For example, bringing 2D files to a 3D environment for up-to-date design.

Responsibilities:

• Work with architectural, mechanical handling equipment and MEP models and provide detailed internal design package drawings

• Creation of 3D reference models from PointCloud data

• Develop supplementary detail on request (Data extraction/Views/Setting out)

• Collaborate to resolve design flaws and inconsistencies in the overall design to ensure that all sites are consistently executed

• Provide co-ordination of design delivery inclusive of different disciplines at a high level and quality

• Perform clash detection to minimize issues arising from multiple design inputs

• Support field engineers with composite layout designs to solve issues arising in the field, responding to RFI queues as necessary

Basic qualifications:

• Architectural, Engineering or related Bachelor's Degree

• Proficient in 2D/3D design and collaboration for the built environment

• Proficient in REVIT, AutoCAD, Navisworks

• Familiar with BIM360

• Experience creating models from PointCloud data

• Experience working in an Architectural or Design capacity

• Ability to organize and track own workload in line with program milestones

• English proficiency

We are seeking a skilled Technical Design Lead to guide and oversee the development of detailed design and construction documentation for interior design projects. Job purpose:

Responsible for managing, reviewing, and coordinating consultants designs from schematic design stage till issued for construction stage to reach a product that is integrated with Hyde Park's strategies and maximizes its revenue.

Key accountabilities :

·    Participate in early concept design stage to provide guidance regarding designs codes, standards, and flag technical issues to be considered in the design.

• Minimum of 8 yearsof relevant experience in design management within real estate development, consultancy, or construction industries.
• Proven experience in coordinating multidisciplinary consultants during all design phases (Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, and IFC).

• Experience in managing large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in value engineering, design review, and budget control throughout project lifecycle.
