**To qualify for the role, you must have**

- Background in mobile and/or fixed network technology (design, implementation and roll out of services).
- Track record of solution design in a telecoms environment.
- Ability to develop workable product solutions to address the strategic imperatives of the business
**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:
- Bachelor degree in electronic/telecommunications engineering.
- Deep understanding of protocols and products in mobile networks: GSM, 3G
- Deep understanding of protocols and products in IP Backbone: RIP, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, ISIS, BGPv4 & MP-BGP, Frame Relay, ATM, Ethernet & DSL ( PPPoE, PPPoA ), LDP, L3VPN, L2VPN, RSVP, VPLS, TE, MPLS, MPLS TE and L3VPNS, L2VPNs (ATOM,VPLS), Inter-AS MPLS and CsC, EGP/IGP Routing Protocols, Metroethernet, Quality of Service.
- Deep understanding of different Security platforms and concepts (FWs, IPS, Proxies, IPSEC tunnels, VPNs, WAF, NAT.)
- CCNP / CCIP certification and/or equivalent certification in Juniper, CCIE or JNCIE is a plus
- CCIE-Security or equivalent is a plus
