Job Description
**JOB PURPOSE**
Responsible for developing the branch business plan, managing and leading the branch effectively to ensure the achievement of branch business goals, while maintaining full adherence to policies and procedures, compliance regulations and audit requirements
- **MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACOUNTABILITIES**:
- Develops action plans for the branch in line with the consumer banking objectives, in coordination with department’s heads
- Drives, manages and tracks the branch performance toward achieving business plan, sales target and high level of service quality
- Contributes to the acquisition of business for the branch by marketing and cross selling the bank’s services and products to existing and potential customers
- Ensures high level of customer service including the review of customer complaints and resolves these complaints to maintain high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensures that processes are in place to measure and monitor operational and financial effectiveness
- Ensures branch adherence to policies and procedures’ guidelines, operations control, compliance, regulations, audit requirements, internal and external reporting obligations
- Oversees the effectiveness of security and control systems to ensure continuity and smooth running of the branch services
- Manages personnel related issues, development and rotation of staff to leverage the required knowledge, skills and abilities and ensures all functions are fully covered within the branch
- Oversees the implementation of service quality initiatives according to set targets, and the employment of operational controls to ensure full adherence to policies and procedures, compliance regulations and audit requirements
- Ensure the Branch is fully compliant with all the governing applicable laws, regulations, policies & procedures and standards related to renunciation of foreign currencies
- Responsible for increasing the awareness of all the branch staff regarding the laws, regulations, the internal policies and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring that customers / walk-in customers who are requested for Forex transactions, are complying with policies and procedures’ guidelines, operations control, compliance, regulations, audit requirements, internal, external reporting obligations and CBE regulations.
- Alert to branch staff to take care in case of repeated currency FX for one customer more than once and for abnormal practices
- Alert to branch staff to ensure that the casual customers are detected on the Siron online system before the transaction took place & to be rejected if any is included in the ban list
- Alert to branch staff to make sure that the walk in clients do not have accounts before passing the transaction cash to cash
- Ensure full compliance and adherence to policies, procedures, regulatory/internal regulations, related to any transactions executed.
- **JOB REQUIREMENTS**
**Minimum Education
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Finance**Languages**
- Fluent in Arabic and English (Writing and speaking)**Required Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Banking and Branch Management
