JOB PURPOSE:
The Electrical Assistant technician will support the maintenance and operational performance of air quality systems. This position focuses on assisting with the repair, calibration, and replacement of system components while ensuring safe working conditions and contributing to the upkeep of technical areas and equipment. ProfileRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Support and Assistance
- Assist electrical technicians with routine electrical maintenance tasks, including but not limited to cleaning electrical panels, distribution boards, and technical work areas.
- Support in cable routing, conduct installation, wire pulling, and preparing tools and equipment for electrical repair and installation tasks.
- Assist in handling, transporting, and organizing electrical parts and materials to ensure necessary components are readily available for maintenance and repairs.
- Provide support to senior technicians during troubleshooting, inspections, testing, or repairs of electrical systems and components.
Basic Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tightening electrical connections, checking circuit breakers, and cleaning control panels.
- Assist in basic installation and repair work involving sockets, switches, and other electrical fittings.
- Ensure all maintenance tools and electrical testing equipment are in good working condition and properly stored after use.
- Provide supervision and assistance to external contractors during electrical maintenance activities as required
Learning and Development

- Support senior team members in reviewing and tracking equipment conditions via Maximo.
Other Duties:
- Undertake additional tasks as required and assigned by senior team members.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to support maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in reading and writing Arabic is essential.
- Ability to work on a shift basis, willingness to work across various locations within Line 3 stations and depots.
- A strong awareness of safety, demonstrated through adherence to protocols and active contribution to a secure work environment.
Knowledge:
- General technical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems.
