- Conduct daily and weekly WHS audits, such as hazard waste room inspection, spill kit inspection, first aid room, etc.
Basic Qualifications
- Education:
- A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Engineering is a standard educational requirement. These programs provide the technical knowledge and training needed to identify, evaluate, and control workplace hazards.
- Occupational Health and Safety programs focus specifically on understanding OSHA regulations, implementing safety management systems, and promoting a safety culture within an organization.
- Engineering degrees, such as industrial, mechanical, or environmental engineering, also provide a strong foundation for safety roles as they teach principles of design, systems analysis, and risk mitigation.
Preferred Qualifications
