The key function of this role is to supervise a small team of engineers and actively support them for project tenders from initial review through final quotation and full tender process. At the conclusion of tenders, ensure win/loss reports and lessons learned as required. For winning bids, ensure a clean handover to the execution teams and in select cases continue supporting up to documentation sign off. The Supervisor / Sr. Electrical Tender Engineer will be a critical player in helping Eaton deliver winning, profitable bids that have a clear scope of work with accurate technical and commercial commitments?
**What you'll do:**
This role will require interpreting the technical packages (drawings, specifications) to identify where Eaton's offers fit and to ensure alignment including agreed CDE's (Comply-Deviate-Exceptions) for all the technical aspects of a tender. It will also require onboarding of new hires and mentoring through their development.
This role will be based office based in Cairo, but support projects across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, so will require good communications and organization of work in order to serve a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders while meeting agreed time schedules.
This individual should be an electrical infrastructure "expert" who has worked in and around large projects and understands the types of challenges these present.
+ Supervise and mentor others
+ Analyze incoming technical RFQs (Request For Quotation) packages to determine Eaton fit (all possible products) and ability to meet customer requirements through the interpretation of tender documents and clarification communications with both customers and internal product support owners
+ Prepare / ensure Eaton offers that align technically with customer specifications

**Qualifications:**
