**Your day-to-day**
· Establish client base of individuals, organizations, associations, social, and/or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside selling to secure business for the hotel to ensure that room night sales and revenue goals are met or exceeded.
· Actively prospect and qualify new business.
· Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and/or hotel services within approved booking guidelines.

**Your day-to-day:**
+ Develop and implement the annual Sales and Marketing plan aligned with the hotel's business goals.
+ Create sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase volume, food and beverage and banquet sales.
+ Interact with outside contacts: guests, vendors, and other contacts as needed.
+ Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to adapt strategies accordingly.

We are seeking a senior and experienced Business Development Manager to join as Senior Business Development Manager for Amazon (e-commerce) in Egypt. This is a crucial role which will be at forefront of both external ecosystems (banks, 3P partners, payment providers etc) and Internal leaderships/stakeholders to shape the growth and development of payments for Amazon shopping in Egypt. The role will drive the key goals, specific payment product P&L, external partnerships and internal stakeholder management.
This role will work closely with the Amazon Payments Lead in Egypt, and the role is based out of Cairo.
Key job responsibilities
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1) Operate Payments goals and P&L for the specific Payment products such as partner discounts, installments and acquiring.
2) Develop and execute partnership strategies with banks, financial institutions and payment service providers to enhance the payment offering of Amazon.eg
3) Secure, sign-up, and manage working relationships with partners such as campaigns, new features/launches etc.
4) Negotiate and finalize business contracts with partners, ensuring favorable terms for Amazon.eg.
5) Monitor and analyze partnership performance, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
6) Collaborate on the Payments product strategy
7) Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the fintech and payments space.
8) Represent Amazon.eg at Payment's industry events and conferences to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
9) Collaborate with internal Payments Team (Product, Finance, Legal, and Ops) and broader Amazon.eg team (leadership, marketing, finance) to achieve the goals and objectives.
10) Contribute to Payment planning for Amazon shopping events and key strategic programs. Contribute to the customer/market research and benchmarking studies, to provide localized inputs.
Basic Qualifications
- MBA
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
- 6+ years of professional or military experience
- 6+ years of Payment Industry experience in partnership management, preferably in the banking, fintech, or e-commerce sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing complex business contracts with banks and financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including traditional banking, alternative payment methods, and emerging fintech solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results through partners and manage SLAs effectively.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
- Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
- Experience with Fintech and e-commerce payments
