+ Support innovation projects, building robust business cases, financial models, and risk assessments.
**5. Performance Reporting and Insights:**
+ Provide in-depth financial reports and dashboards to communicate business performance and trends.
+ Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior management and leadership teams.
+ Share insights with cross-functional and external stakeholders to align joint strategies for growth and profitability.
**6. Collaborate Cross-Functionally:**
+ Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Legal teams to align financial strategies with broader business initiatives.
+ Act as a financial thought partner for leadership, enabling agile decision-making backed by robust analysis.
+ Provide financial leadership on key projects, ensuring strong governance, control, and alignment with strategic priorities.
**What we are looking for:**
+ Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
+ MBA, CFA, or professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a strong advantage.
+ Minimum of 4+ years in financial planning, commercial finance, or related leadership roles.
+ Experience in a multinational Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment is preferred.
+ Proven track record in revenue management, strategic planning, or pricing optimization.
**Technical Skills:**
+ Expertise in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
+ Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, scenario analysis, etc.).
+ Strong analytical ability to derive insights from large datasets; knowledge of visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
+ Solid understanding of P&L management, working capital, and profitability levers.
+ Familiarity with RGM (Revenue Growth Management) principles and OBPPC frameworks is an added advantage.

Preliminary top-down estimates of the global financial gap for biodiversity range from US$ 100 to 400 billion annually and detailed bottom-up assessments in participating BIOFIN countries validate this significant financial need and have helped identify finance solutions required to achieve the Aichi Targets and biodiversity related SDGs. In recent decades, biodiversity finance tools and solutions have demonstrated their importance for achieving biodiversity and sustainable development goals. But since countries have not approached the issue of biodiversity finance in a comprehensive manner, the choice and adoption of finance solutions has remained experimental and opportunistic. Improved choice, design and implementation of effective well-tailored finance solutions will strengthen a countries’ chances of achieving national and global biodiversity targets.
The Biodiversity Finance Initiative - BIOFIN - is a global programme that developed, piloted, and is continuously improving a methodology to measure existing biodiversity expenditure levels, assess future financial needs, and design comprehensive plans to use finance tools and solutions that increase financing, effectiveness and efficiency of biodiversity management in 35 countries. BIOFIN’s first phase (2012-2018) enabled full assessments and initial implementation of finance plan elements in target countries. Significant enhancement and scaling up of finance solutions is required in all countries to address the biodiversity finance challenge. BIOFIN’s second phase enables the 35 countries to complete the design and implementation of priority finance solutions and will allow new countries to undertake the assessments as well as create and implement their biodiversity finance plan. At the central level, knowledge management platforms will be expanded and additional guidance produced for most valuable finance solutions.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The core responsibility of the Finance Advisor is to provide overall technical guidance and produce the Biodiversity Finance Plan. The Finance Advisor will work in close collaboration with the National Project Coordinator, the entire National BIOFIN Team, UNDP CO and the global BIOFIN team to assure the highquality delivery of all reports and outcomes of BIOFIN at the national level. These reports will include the Biodiversity Finance Policy and Institutional Review, the Biodiversity Expenditure Review, Financial Needs Assessment and the Biodiversity Finance Plan. Additionally, the Finance Advisor will be directly responsible for sections of specific reports and for leading the development, drafting, and finalization of the Biodiversity Finance Plan. All reports will be provided to the designated national government
institute and, UNDP CO, and validated by the designated national government institute, UNDP CO and the global BIOFIN team.
The Finance Advisor is expected to have senior experience and to provide substantial technical expertise in assuring horizontal integration and consistency of workstreams/studies, as well as quality assurance of national products and processes throughout the duration of the national project. He/she will be responsible for relevant sections of the Policy and Institutional Review, the Biodiversity Expenditure, Review and the Financial Needs Assessment. Submitting Revenue documents to BOC for revenue recognition and updating Deferred Revenue & Revenue File
Checking Revenue I/F file and ensuring Cost and Revenue is released correctly at month end.
Reviewing & Reversing ERP entries for Subscription revenue's released via URS.
Providing update to team for Revenue tracking.
Reviewing 2226 Account on closing and posting required reclass entries and following up for unposted Revenue's with BOC
**SSF - Order reporting**
Reviewing & Approving SSF's and forwarding to BOC for reporting.
**GL & Intercompany**
After review of Revenue & Deferred Revenue Calculating Sponsor commission and posting manual entries.
Coordinating with Customer Fulfillment on Factory Costs and process manual entries for SW & HW
**Legal Framework/ Tax/ Audit/ VAT**
Preparing audit reports and working with tax Auditor to close the audit before due date.
**B/S Review**
Reviewing & Reconciling all B/S Accounts with Subsystem reports & Analysis before month end close.
Completing ARCs Reconciliation
**Adhoc Report & Projects**
Preparing Variance analysis Reports
Researching and working with for new and useful reports to easy our monthly financial process and for better view of result- aim to abolish manual reports.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
+ Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle cloud) and financial software.
+ Strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow analysis.

CARE seeks a Finance Director for the anticipated USAID-funded Ending Violence against Women and Girls Activity. This project aims to address and eliminate gender-based violence/violence against women and girls, including female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C), child, early and forced marriage (CEFM), and seasonal marriage as forms of trafficking in persons.

The Activity will: (1) support positive behavioral change to end VAW/G; and (2) expand access to quality integrated VAW/G support services and responsive interventions, such as medical, legal, psychosocial, and economic empowerment services. The Activity will respond to the U.S. and Egyptian Governments’ shared policy priorities focused on gender equality and women’s empowerment.

This activity is expected to be a five-year program in the $25M range.

Location: Cairo, Egypt

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Support the Chief of Party in day-to-day financial and operational management; ensure that the program meets all CARE, USAID and host country regulations and requirements.
- Establish efficient financial and operational systems and processes including start up activities, internal audits, compliance, and risk management.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and review all financial plans and budgets, monitoring progress and changes.
- Manage project procurement and human resources as needed.
- Track and analyze all costs incurred under the award.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of the project and services across all cost centers with an ability to provide information in a timely manner.
- Provide accurate financial records that are appropriate and give the required confidence to internal and external users.
- Advise senior management on burn rates and other programmatic considerations; provide complete and compliant required reporting; and maintain financial records for all program activities.
- Oversee sub-grant budgets and expenditures; provide relevant capacity building on financial and operational requirements for local partners as needed.
- Manage the Cash processes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash and ensure monthly reconciliation and follow up should be made; communicating regarding any irrecoverable position in a timely manner and seeking appropriate authorization for write offs.
- Supervise a small team of finance and operations staff.
- Ensure that appropriate financial record-keeping policies and practices are established and maintained throughout the life of the program.
- Coordinate the annual audit (and any special or non-recurring audit) with the organization's external auditors.
- Oversee office operations, expenditures, staff, and transportation/vehicles.
- Liaise with CARE’s home office financial, compliance and field operations teams.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in finance, business, economics, or relevant field preferred; additional years of experience in lieu of a masters is acceptable.
- At least eight plus (8+) years of experience managing finances, operations, and administration of international donor-funded programs.
- Experience managing USAID cooperative agreements and/or contracts as well as the implementation of donor priorities including localization preferred.
- Having a clear understanding of and adhere to current laws and regulations and ensuring all the organization's financial activities comply with those laws.
- Experience managing complex activities involving coordination with multiple program partner institutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with host governments, donors, other donor-funded projects and stakeholders, local organizations, and partners.
- Demonstrated commitment to principles of Gender Equity, Diversity, Belonging and Inclusion.
- Demonstrated commitment to Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Harassment (PSEAH).
- Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Team management experience.
- Written and oral fluency in English and Arabic (Egyptian dialect preferable) is required.
